Have you heard about his new fabric line from Clothworks Fabrics called American Made Brand? Other than being truly lovely fabrics, the cool thing about it is it's made in America complete from Farm all the way to Fabric! Instead of American grown cotton being shipped out of the country on cargo ships, it's being sent straight to American Mills, to employ American workers, to make it into completely American made Fabric!
I was already excited about this fabric line, and then I was asked to participate in the American Made Brand Blog Tour! One blogger from each of the 50 states will make a block fashioned like a state license plate using the AMB fabrics, and you can "travel" the country via blog land and see all of the blocks beginning May 19th (and my block will appear here on May 22nd!)
I was sent a little cut of each of the colors in the line, and I made my block based on my good friend Barbara Burnham's block design. It's been a fun collaboration :)
...And best of all, Clothworks is generously giving away a bundle of fabrics to one lucky winner at each blog. So make sure you stop back here on May 22nd to see my little Maryland block and get your name in for the Give Away from Clothworks...and I may just have some other little goodies to give away as well :)
Enjoy the day!
