I thought I'd dig into the New Decade with my theme word for the year. If you read many blogs, you most likely have seen posts about choosing a theme word to focus on in the upcoming year. Ali Edwards started choosing a word on her blog and the idea has kind of caught on with other bloggers that I read regularly like Pat Sloan. 
When looking over the pictures that I have taken in 2009, the ones that made me smile,
the ones where I just took a breath and relaxed,
were of simple things around me, of the people and things in my life that I love. 
SimplicityWhen I keep things simple, I can more easily see all of the blessings in my life, so that is my word, the thing that I will strive for in 2010. Amidst all of the daily chores, and things that just cry for my attention and can throw me so easily off course, I will try to focus each day on Simplicity. ...2010 seems more doable already :)

surprisingly difficult but not impossible to achieve. i would like more simplicity in my world this year.
good word... and can be applied to so many different areas of our lives..
