Wow! Because of the popularity of my little flying geese snipets, I've pulled them out of the waste basket and they have a place of honor in my sewing room, at least for the time being.
I've decided, since so many people cared to comment about them, I will take your suggestions and offer them up as a free giveaway ~ I may even throw in a fat quarter or two that has never been in the wastebasket :) So if you are interested in receiving my little triangle snipets (many of them Jo Morton fabrics, but not all), plus a little extra piece of fabric or two, just leave a comment on this post and I'll choose one random person by Thursday to pass them on to.
And I just had to share my little Day After Valentines Day present ~ a tradition that started back when we were first married and I was pinching our pennies pretty tightly. Instead of giving me chocolates on Valentines Day (Whitman Samplers are my very favorites, but was quite a splurge back in the old days), my husband would wait until the day after Valentines Day and go and buy one for me at half price. Now he continues the tradition, but gets me two for the price of one (isn't he cute) and he always knows how to make me smile :)
Enjoy the day!

I'm smiling because you actually did it!! You took the snippets out of the can! Good for you and good for someone who will win your giveaway. Think of it this way, You're recycling. My daughters would be so proud!! Please enter me in this silly, but worthwhile "giveaway"!!!
There is nothing wrong with celebrating Valentine's Day on the day after!! My Father used to do that. Brings back fond memories, because he used to get one not only for my Mom, but for us kids also. :0)
I love triangle snippets and Jo Morton. Please enter my name in your draw :)
What a GREAT Valentine's Day tradition!!! As for the fabric triangle scraps, I have never had any Jo Morton fabric and hear lots of talk about it on the blogs, so I'd love to have these and make something from them...maybe some minis as I LOVE minis. I hope I might be lucky enough to win them!!! (I'd make you proud as to how I'd put them to good use...yes, I would!!! LOL)
I have been collecting my snippets and making maverick star blocks...you can see them a couple blog entries back at www.joscountryjunction.com. I am running out and still have a few blocks to go. I would LOVE your snippets.
Hurray for you! You changed your mind. If it's any consolation I have been in your shoes and ultimately resurected the bits out of the bin. In my world these bits turn into pinwheels. I have lots and lots of pinwheels.........and I could always use more
yeah!!!! you made my day, I would love the snippets :)

Snippets are fun--and useful, too. Leftovers, wheter fabric or food, challenge us to spread our minds out and try something new.
Even though I have a pile of my own snippets, please enter my name in your drawing. So far the only fabric I've been able to throw out are those very little odd shapes that are trimmed off when cutting a piece.
Extra sweet thought from the hubby to buy two at half price!
Yes, I'll take an entry into the snippets drawing Dawn!!
Your snippets sent my mind racing as to what I could make with them! Please enter me in your drawing!
Happy Quilting!

Hi,
I am doing a snowball quilt, and I too have snipets. Not enough for a give-a-way yet, but...they are mounting...LOL
Your snippets could lead to something pretty interesting around here! Could you throw my name in the hat too please?
Carolyn
Ohhhh, little scraps....my favorite! Count me in please, good luck all!
Oh, I'm so glad to hear you rescued the little snippets :) If I win, I pledge to use them right away! I love that your husband continues the tradition which makes it all the more special.
I'm a huge Jo fan! Huge!! I'm delighted that your "toss aways" will find a new home...hopefully here in the hollow. :0)
What a cute giveaway...would love to give your snippets a new home!
Looks like Frummie and I are both making snowball quilts! For the first time I am sewing the triangles together instead of throwing them away! So I would be excited to win your snippets, esp if some are Jo's! Thank you for offering them for a give a way! And the candy looks de-lish!!!
