Lite Read Giveaway

As summer is coming to a close, so is the summer reading season.  I enjoy having a "Lite" read to kill a few summer moments at the pool, on the deck, or in my gazebo.  Along with my many crafting books, I love fiction books in a series and I perpetually have quite a stack on my "to-read" shelf.  I need to catch up on my Elm Creek collection, I have one more to read in the Shenandoah series by Emily Richards, and I'm looking to start reading the Marie Bostwick series.  I also have been working on the Kate Jacobs, and Debbie Macomber knitting series.  I even have some cookbooks that I want to read ~ I like to save them for autumn.

I haven't had a give away in a while, so I thought I'd pass these little goodies on to some lucky commenter.  These books pictured above are a few of the books that I've enjoyed this summer ~ at least they are ones that I'm willing to give away.  I like to collect books, but I'm usually willing to pass on a paperback after I've read it.

So if you're interested, leave a comment at the end of this post, tell me what your favorite "Lite" read is, or your favorite author and I'll draw the name of a lucky winner on Sunday, September 5th...and maybe I'll learn of a few more books to add to my "to-read" pile :)

Enjoy the day!
~ Dawn

I have to say that my favorite "light" reading is Janet Evanovich's series of books that has Stephanie Plum as the heroine. Until I discovered those books, I never EVER had a book that made me laugh out loud. I do love to read...although I have read a lot less since I started quilting nearly 5 years ago. I'd love a chance to win these books...it's nice of you to offer them and I'd pass them along to others after I finished with them.

My "heart" book, the one that touched my heart and has to be near me all the time, is Tending Roses by Lisa Wingate. It is a life changing story.

I don't know about a "light" read. I love murder mysteries. My favorite author is Lillian Jackson Braun who writes The Cat Who.... series. Dick Francis has murders at racetracks, and Sue Grafton is working her way through the alphabet with her female detective Kinsey Malone. But,now that I think of it, the light read I am reading now is The Time Travelor's Wife. It is a very light read! lol Thank you for the opportunity to win some good books! See you for Civil War Sunday???

I like to read books by Tamara Mc Kinley, Nora Roberts, Rosamund Pilcher and many more. But a year ago, I discovered some new authors include Debbie Macomb and Emily Richards. These writers I liked right away. Unfortunately, it is a bit difficult to find or buy books from them here where I live (Sweden) so I would like to be included in your giveaway.
