Our Row by Row Pattern Now on our Free Pattern Page

Remember our little Springtime Row pattern that was available free during this Summer's Row by Row Experience shop hop?  Well now it's available as a Free Pattern Download on our website :)

Here are a couple of different versions of our row that customers made...

...Make sure you send photos of what you do with our Row Pattern!

This month at Fall Quilt Market they revealed that the theme of the 2015 Row by Row Experience shop hop will be Water.  I'm sure there will be plenty of really creative rows designed based on water.

...And remember our little "Just Quilt" license plate?  (We do have a couple of them still available in the shop from our last re-order) Well, we saw a sighting of our license plate at Quilt Market...

This quilt was hanging in the Row by Row Experience booth, I don't know who made it...

...but this was the center block :)

Crafty Readers at the Howard County Library

This past Wednesday, I spent the evening at the Howard County Library meeting some nice crafters and doing a little stitching.  I was invited to attend the Crafty Readers meeting at the Central Branch Library.  They asked me to bring a few things and tell the group about my new shop here in Columbia.

The group is open to everyone and the monthly meetings are Free!  Some months there are speakers lined up, and there is always stitching/knitting/crocheting/scrapbooking... going on.

The wonderful librarians who sponsor the group had a wide assortment of books layed out of interest to crafters that we could check out...Even Fiction books.

There was also a door prize drawing and I won one of the books they were giving away ~ Sweet!

For more information on the Crafty Readers meetings you can contact Cristina Lozare at the Howard County Central Branch Library, or just drop in on the next meeting on Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m. :)

Spooky Eve!

I love October!  October brings some of my favorite things ~ candy corn, mounds of mums, fun size candy bars, and a few fun Halloween quilty projects :)  These are two projects that I designed for Quilting Treasures using their Spooky Eve fabric line designed by Pamela Bishop.  The center is the cute Trick or Treat panel with some pieced borders added to make this first one a throw sized quilt.

...And how about a quick little wall hanging/door banner to welcome the little ghouls and goblins on the Spooky Eve :)  You can get the Free Project sheet that includes instructions for both of these projects Here on Quilting Treasure's Site ~ just scroll down the page a little and click on Spooky Eve.  You can look for Spooky Eve fabrics available in quilt shops now, or do a search online if your local shop doesn't have it.  Happy October!
