Some Quilt-As-You-Go Fun

I worked at the shop yesterday, and finally got to spend a day back in front of a sewing machine, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I didn't have my camera, so snapped these pictures on my phone. I'm a little phone-camera challenged so the colors are off. The inner border and binding on the peach and green runner is a dark green, but not as dark as it's appearing here.

Then I whipped up the same runner in a blue colorway ~ but sorry, these pictures are washed out, and this was the best result after photo editing. That'll teach me to not take my camera along!

Most of the fabrics in these runners is from the A's, B's and Dandelion Seeds collection designed by Jackie Patton for Red Rooster Fabrics.

And the pattern to make these quick, quilt-as-you-go tablerunners is called Braid Runner designed by Gudrun Eria of GE Designs. It's nice to be sewing again :)

Enjoy the day!

Neat table runners, Dawn. I'm so glad you had a day to bond with your sewing machine. I'm sure it was good for the soul. I hope your Dad is doing well.

Your table runners turned out so lovely. I can't tell you how many of those I have made, because I too love that pattern. My pattern is getting worn. Isn't quilt as you go great?
