A Little Wool Project

At Quilt Market there is the option to sign up to take both business related and technique classes. I usually try to take a combination of both while I'm there. This year one of the technique classes I took dealt with dimensional wool applique. I plan on framing this at some point. It was definitely a fun, stress free project to make, and a much needed break between classes on marketing and website tech stuff!

The pattern is called "Faith...Family...Friends" by Ewe-nique Creations, and it includes instructions to make three 8 x 10" framed floral pictures (this is only one of them). They have some really cute patterns and some beautiful hand dyed wool at their website ~ I need to order some yellow wool for the little chick in my "Tisket a Tasket" block. I really enjoy the dimension and texture that wool adds to a project, and love to add wool touches to my quilts as well.

Enjoy the day!
