I'm so excited, yesterday I shipped out my second quilt to be photographed for publication ~ meeting my May 10th deadline early! These are some sneak peek pictures of parts of "Wandering Through the Holly". It's a big one, measuring in at 82" by 108". These pictures were taken when I was still working on the quilt top (in the wee hours of the morning ~ note the darkness outside my window).
The fabric line is adorable. It's called "Christmas Magic" designed by Lynette Anderson for Henry Glass fabrics. This quilt should appear in Quilt Magazine later this fall for the holidays. I'll let you know as soon as I know the exact issue and release date :)
This is a section of the pieced back that shows the cute quilting that Maria O'Haver did for me. The fabric is whimsical so the quilting she did really fits it.
Today I'm hoping to finish quilting the charity auction quilt that I'm donating to our church youth group. I seem to running that deadline right up to the last minute ~ the auction is this Saturday. Wish me luck :)
Enjoy the day!

I saw your comment on Lynette's blog - I love what you've done with her fabric - I can't wait to get it myself.
Thanks Suz ~ The colors in this collection are great, you'll love working with it!
I also was reading Lynette's blog. How beautiful your quilt looks. I love the material - how cute. (I should make a quilt for my youth group as well). I hope I can get the mag here in Australia. Blessings Sandy
In case you can't find the magazine in Australia, I do have couple of the current issue of Quilt in my ebay store (This current issue has my Rootin Tootin Cowboy Quilt in it). I'm sure that I'll have a few extras of the holiday issue in my store later too ~ just check back :)
Thanks for Looking! ~ Dawn
